Explore the Sardinian region and its rich culture of people and the main staple dishes like minestrone from many family recipes.

UNIT 4

Home to the longest-living women on the planet, Okinawa foods are full of flavor and richness that can be made in mere minutes.

UNIT 5

One of the best breakfasts can be found in Costa Rica and their emphasis on beans helps keep these community members healthy, regular and living longer.

UNIT 6

Full of strong personalities and strong flavors, this island region Blue Zone is home to fantastic foraged herbs and sourdough breads that make the mouth water.

UNIT 7

The first American blue zone revolves around the seventh-day adventist community and its emphasis on plant-based cooking. Here you will find many American-style foods perfected over the years that hit many comfort foods for transitioning to a new lifestyle.

Exploring the American Kitchen was a big priority for Dan during the pandemic and he traversed the United States to find cultures that ate in the same style as the original blue zones.
